Spam - reBounder accepts only messages from trusted senders, that is senders which are entered in a whitelist. In addition, Spam - reBounder accepts messages with a specific codeword in the subject line. What are the advantages of Spam - reBounder? Common AntiSpam Software filters the messages based on sender adresses and based on the content. Those tools do recognize a big part of spam messages. However, some are unrecognized and "slip" through into your mailbox. The reason that it is not possible to keep the blacklist (list with sender adresses and domain names of well-known spammers) up to date. Moreover, the used algorithms for recognizing spam messages based on the content often do mark valid messages as spam. Spam - reBounder has another approach. Our tool accepts only messages from trusted senders. All other messages are "rebounded" (now you know where the name comes from) to the sender. The rebounded messages to contain the information, that the message was not delivered, and that the sender shall confirm the message by sending the message again with a specific codeword in the subject line. Based on the codeword in the subject line, Spam - reBounder does accept the message. Top Userguide Overview ![]() The main view of Spam - reBounder has 3 main parts:
